So i returned it to the shop… but before i did this i restored everything on it and managed to find a way to remove the ClockWorkMod Recovery!

1. Restore the original rom of the phone from a backup or a stock rom here  using the Rom manager or booting diectly in ClockWorkRecovery (bootloader must be unlocked!)

2. After restoring the rom/backup you should do a factory reset.

3. Turn the phone off and start in bootloader( Power + Volume UP)

4.Download this recovery file

5. open a command prompt and go into the tools folder of the Android SDK and Type:

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

6. Now you can lock the bootloader back using this command:

fastboot oem lock

Now you should be all safe to go back to return the phone and no one will notice

I was a bit disoriented at first since i came from iOS (iPhone 3Gs) but after a couple of minutes i was confortable with the device. The screen is a bit smaller than the iphone but it still have nice colors and is really responsive.

Now that I started school last September I didn’t have much time to write anything on my blog… But I think we all agree that school is really important…. especially in IT!

If you don’t have a certification and/or a diploma you don’t have much credibility… That’s what I learned in the past years… The more I go trough my course the more I discover its benefits. Which it’s obvious anyway… It is such a relief for me to go to school as before I was working somewhere that i had too much responsibility for what I was able to actually do… Learning under pressure can be good when you have a solid background in the domain. But when you don’t really know what you are doing well that’s another story! Plus doing this alone is really a nightmare!

Even with my experiences and knowledge I already owned when I started that Network IT course, it was basic stuff that I used to to before, I still learned things in the first 3 months of this course even if it was stuff I already did in the past. At least one time a week I was saying: Damn why I didn’t do that that way? But yeah you can say that I could have learned this by myself.. but when?

Anyway this course keep me busy and I LOVE IT!

Procrastination is in my way when I have to clean the dishes, clean my appartement, when I have to clean my clothes, take out the trash, at work…. well I think you get my point…

Most people say: Why don’t you just do it? Well.. That is so easy to say! What is hard is to take the habit of putting deadlines for all your tasks and technology these days make is so easy to procrastinate as there SO many nice things to do on a computer. Hey, the entire internet is at you fingertips! It is so much funnier to go to Youtube than GMail… You also have access to many games on Steam.. and it sit and wait in your sys-tray! Oh I will only play a little game just to realize I just wasted 2 hours to simply do this little “game”. Why don’t I read this good article on my favorite band on Wikipedia? I will surely do the dishes after. Then i will go on LastFM to discover similar bands but I still haven’t done what’s important in my day yet!

Procrastination leads to so many problems in life and this is only the tip of the iceberg on how devastating this can be and I am living proof as many others on this Planet.

Please mister Procrastinate get lost! I want to actually live my life!

So today i decided to put more discipline in my life and make a post on my blog once a week is my first goal.  It can be more than one a week or every day but it will never be less than one post a week.

The next time you log in and visit the Settings page, you’ll see a rich text editor in the signature section. Here, you can customize your signature by adding pretty formatting, links, and images — or decide to leave things nice and simple.

Gmail also now supports a unique signature for each email address associated with your account. So, if you send mail using a custom “From:” address, you can use a different signature for that address. From the Settings page, you can edit the signature for each account by changing the email address that appears in the dropdown menu.

Currently, only the latest desktop version of Gmail supports rich text signatures and multiple signatures. The older version and HTML version of Gmail, along with the mobile versions, use a plain text version of your primary account’s signature.

It’s been a long time since i had time to do some blogging! what was the last blog-post? July 2nd, 2009! that was the last post here…. I really need to get back to this!

I would like to be able to do at least 1 blog-post per week but i’m not sure when i will be able to do that :S

President Barack Obama says that digital security a top priority, despite the fact that many would most probably put it behind other agendas the coutry has on its plate. However according to Obama the fourth or fifth top priority is to guard the computer systems that keep the lights on in a city and direct airliners to the right runway or those protecting customers who pay their bills online.

Today, Obama is expected to lay out broad goals for dealing with cyber threats. He apparently wants to show that the US is a digital nation that needs to provide the education required to keep pace with technology and attract and retain a cyber-savvy work force. He also is expected to call for a new education campaign to raise public awareness of the challenges and threats related to cyber security.

People in the know say that today’s speech will be long on talk and short on telling the government or private industry to tighten digital defenses. However, the cyber czar will not have sufficient budgetary and policymaking authority over securing computer systems and spending and so will nominally be a figurehead.

In fact the czar will not even direct, unfettered access to the president, which is something that even the White House dog has. Instead, the official would report to senior NSC officials, a situation many say will make it difficult to make major changes within the calcified federal bureaucracy.

A study of British men and women has concluded that techies make the best lovers. They were found to be the most selfless in the sack, the most adventurous and more likely to use gadgets.

Seventy-eight per cent of techies that were questioned also claimed that sex toys were part of their love life. Unusually they didn’t care if they were Open Sourced or proprietary. Eighty-two per cent of IT workers also claimed to consider their partners sexual needs above there own, the highest result from all of those asked.

While IT workers were often not so hot at networking they knew their way around their partner’s schematic. It probably comes from downloading gigabytes of porn every day. In comparison, those who worked in the fitness industry were found to be least likely to use sex toys, with just three in ten using them regularly and were the most selfish lovers.

However IT workers fall fair behind the fitness freaks when it comes to the number of times they get to use their joy stick. IT workers have sex much less than three times a week, well behind officer workers and the fitness fanatics.
